Happy Easter

Easter is usually a time not only spent with family but also extended family and friends. Bunny visits, egg hunts, crafts, a special dinner and too much candy is typically on the Sunday schedule. Obviously this year is different. I am so excited to share with everyone what YOUR #FRONTSTEPSPROJECT donations supported!!

Earlier this week I reached out to Erica who helps with activity coordination at the Katella Senior Living Community. I asked what they needed for their residents for Easter. Knowing that they would be without their families this year, I wanted to do what I could to make this holiday a little more special for them. She suggested something to go with morning coffee and something for the easter baskets they were going to be given to each resident on Sunday morning.

With about 3 days notice I reached out to Karie at Miss Priss Cupcakes and Such as well as my good friend Sabrina who owns Couture Cupcakery. These girls are rockstars who went above an beyond on short notice to make this happen for these residents. Miss Priss made 65 individually wrapped cupcakes for each basket and Couture Cupcakery provided 4 trays of coffee cake to go with the residents coffee at breakfast. Sabrina (Couture Cupcakery) also reached out to her friend Stephanie at Pipin’ Sugar Co who provided a dozen adorable bunny cookies for each of the staff members.

This afternoon I was able to deliver all of the treats (safely) to the Katella Senior Living Facility. A huge thank you to those who were on board with the donations and some people went above and beyond and donated more than suggested. There is still more to do and give but I hope this makes Easter a little more special for these residents.
