Mom reached out and said she wanted a Carmen Miranda themed cake smash. My first thought was “Chiquita banana” or the cute lady with a fruit hat on a stamp… she is on a stamp right? But how the heck do I incorporate it into a cake smash session for a baby? Easy… Color and fruit galore! The romper I found on Amazon, the fruit is a mix of fondant and the fake food you can get at the craft store. Mom found a vendor on ETSY to make her awesome hat. and just like that we had our theme. The cake was made by Couture Cupcakery in Long Beach, CA I love this out of the box photoshoot idea and I hope you do as well.
