Tropical Boho Cake Smash

We took it outdoors for this little one’s first birthday with a tropical boho cake smash. Although the lighting and other elements of the outdoors are trickier to control than in our studio sessions, there is nothing that can top that blue sky and green trees. This was the perfect setting to dress up with flowing decor and boho elements that the mom sourced from friends and Amazon finds. Flowers from Love Her Madly brought in a pop of pink color on the cake and a custom flower crown. We included a fun baby bath look that was to die for!

Camilla didn’t want to ruin the beautifully simple cake by Couture Cupcakery, I mean, can you blame her? Good thing she absolutely LOVED the outdoor bath session. The milky water filled with flowers and petals was the perfect way to close out this shoot.
