Thinking about having a photo session on the beach? Look no further than the Manhattan Beach Pier, a gem of the South Bay and one of the cleanest beaches for miles. This historic pier is a great setting for family photos and was even featured on the film La La Land. If you are making your way to this area, I highly recommend making a day out of it! At the end of the pier is a small aquarium that when open, accepts donation based admission and viewing of some awesome sea creatures that the kids are sure to love. Heading inland, you will find a main street full of boutiques, shops, and restaurants to score a delectable meal and find some coastal treasures.

During each family session, in addition to family group photos I like to have the kids and parents take photos of their own. It gives you a variety of photos to choose from and use for any occasion! Mom and dad deserve to be in the spotlight too!
