Flower Field Family Photos | Orange County Family Photographer

This year’s flower family photos were so much fun with every family who came along! I love being an Orange County family photographer and getting to capture so many varieties of families and it is so special every time.

These sessions took place just down the road from the Mission San Juan Capistrano and the famous Los Rio district. The flower field is actually right off the freeway, close to plenty of good shopping and dining spots for anybody wanting to grab a bite after their session!

And for anyone looking for a great place to grab a good drink, A Stones Throw Winery is located on the property where we photographed these sessions. It’s a beautiful winery that sits amongst the orange groves and has stunning views of the mountains! It’s the perfect place to go for a wine tasting with your friends or to hold your wedding/special event at.

The flowers in this field bloom from mid-March through April, making it a dreamy background for spring family photos. It was so fun getting to photograph immediate families, extended families, siblings, spouses, grandparents, and more! One fam even brought their pups - there’s a dog park nearby the field, so lucky it’s a dog-friendly location for any pups that want to tag along. Make sure to check out the hiking trails nearby, too!
